Jack N’ Elle Playhouse Project

Mona Sullivan left her corporate job behind to build a chic, happy place for children in Atlanta, GA to play and learn, and she needed a website that would match the aesthetic of her new indoor play and family venue. To allow for her to update without the need to have a developer every time that she needed changes, I used the Divi Framework.

Amber Hansford – Author Project

Ever since I was little, I loved to write. In 2019, I’m taking the plunge and I’m starting to publish my work. Because I’m working in multiple genres, it took me a long time to wrap my brain around how to structure an author site that encompasses a few genres without detracting from the author brand. With the branding, I wanted something simple that would translate across genre as well.

I’ll be honest that I feel a little strange adding this to my design portfolio, but I’m very happy with the results, and I wanted to share how to balance without pushing towards separate sites for each genre.

Whole Self Doula Project

Vicki Bloom, certified doula in NYC needed a new site when we initially talked, but didn’t have a very large budget. We worked together to add the Divi Framework to her site and provide a modern look that matched her wonderful logo, making sure that her website matches her unique services.

My “day job” for the last 5 years has been as a Product Manager (including my blog, Developer to Product), and I was made aware of a new meetup group that had started in Atlanta, product404. Since they were in the beginning stages, only having their first meetup a month ago, I asked them if they’d like me to put together a site for them. Using the Divi framework so they can update without having too much stress, I worked up a quick one-pager theme that can scale as they grow.

Traci Flome contacted me initially just to take over quarterly maintenance for her business’s site, Express Yourself SPS. After a few months, she wanted to refresh the site to something that was even easier to update as she needed, and we worked together to add the Divi Framework to her site and provide a visual refresh to it.
