For a new stand-alone science fiction novel, Steve Peacock wanted something to convey the story but also remind readers of simplicity for his new book, Cold Dawn. I designed both the print and the e-book version of the cover.

Steve Peacock, an author who I’d worked with previously on some of his series and stand-alone books in the past contacted me for a new novel in his Warlocks of Whitehall series. After reading through a first draft, I put together both a print and e-book version for him to use.

Ghosts on the Wind Project

Steve Peacock’s second project with me is a cover for his newest book, Ghosts on the Wind. Set in Victorian London, I wanted to give hints to some of the imagery that is integral to the story, without giving away “spoilers”. Also, the cover needed to be adaptable to be used as an e-book and a print paperback, so there are a few tweaks to allow for both formats.

Hair of the Dog Project

Thanks to Twitter, I was introduced to Mr. Peacock, who was in search of some quick turn-around book cover design for a follow-up novella for his e-book series, Warlocks of Whitehall. As this was a new story within a pre-existing series, I used first book in the series, Lore and Order, to give Hair of the Dog a similar feel within the world that he’d created.
